Fall At Last
Finally. The first part of fall which is warm during the day and cool at night. It's a great time for apple picking, cider donuts, farmers' markets and one more fishing trip on the lakes. Last weekend I went up to Lake George and spent two days fishing on the lake. 45 degrees as I had a campfire at the NYS
Battlegrounds Public Campsite. I spent a comfortable night in my tent but I need to remember I should bring a mattress pad.... I launched the boat the next morning and it got up to 80 degrees on the water by noon. Perfect...

Fall farmers markets rock. Downtown Troy, Colonie's Crossings and the Saratoga farmers markets are the best. Lots of good food and drink, some entertainment and lots of produce. Shut off the the TV, put down your phone, ignore the news and go enjoy the beautiful views of Upstate NY.
